So many things...

Sitting inside on a rainy day has its ups and downs. I sometimes wonder if I spend too much time at the 'puter, esp. as it's what I do all day at work.

As an odd example of how my mind works (wonder if I have ADD or something): Came upon a great link from Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish ( http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/ ) to a National Geographic piece on the oldest temple structure in the world ( http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2011/06/gobekli-tepe/mann-text/1 ). The author describes how this complex is shaking up anthropology as it's too old to be there: at this period of human evolution we should be expecting hunter/gatherer's and not some elaborate temple (it being the work of a lot of people working together - not something gatherer's would be expected to do.)

So piqued, I decided to record this find for myself and others. Facebook seemed somewhat chill for the ADF-Scholar community I'd wish to target, so I (re-)checked out Digg ( http://digg.com ) to "digg" it there. I haven't "digg'd" much at all but thought this might be a good way to engage the scholars over at ADF. We'll just see, eh?
